About the author

 Jesse Rothstein is a sales executive, author, and connector of people. His passion is executing on the idea that the currency of business and life are relationships. He began his career as an account manager at Procter & Gamble before pivoting to leadership positions at a pair of technology firms, Upserve and Activeion Cleaning Solutions. Jesse then spent over three years in Sydney, Australia where he helped execute sales strategies for Staples and LinkedIn before returning to the United States with LinkedIn in early 2016. Jesse is deeply committed to the sales profession, illustrated through his book, Carry That Quota, as well as his current work as Vice President and Lead Trainer at Empire Selling.


Empire Selling is a digital sales training and go-to-market transformation company that empowers B2B revenue teams to build sales pipelines and win trust in the market. With thousands of sellers trained across the world, Empire has helped brands like Vodafone Business, SAP, Broadcom Software, RELX, and more increase new revenue and customer lifetime value.


Outside of his work in sales, Jesse is active in his community. He chairs the Emerging Leaders Council for New Heights Youth, a youth basketball and education non-profit in Brooklyn, New York. Jesse has also been heavily involved with the Mario St. George Boiardi Foundation, an organization focused on providing opportunities for future leaders. Jesse lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, writing, and running marathons.
